Huawei unveiled its first-ever HUAWEI XMAGE Global Exhibition, titled “A Heartwarming World – 12 Years of Huawei Photography” on May 8th, 2024, at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai. This marks the largest photography exhibition in Huawei’s history. Alongside the exhibition, the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2024 was officially launched during the opening ceremony.
The exhibition, themed “A Heartwarming World,” features nearly 300 photographs taken by Huawei smartphones. These images capture moments of warmth, tranquility, and brightness from around the globe. They showcase the power of Huawei’s XMAGE imaging technology, emphasizing the new brand philosophy, ‘The Power of Image,’ which aims to inspire creativity and appreciation among consumers.
Over the past 12 years, Huawei has been at the forefront of mobile photography development. The exhibition highlights works from Huawei smartphone series, showcasing the evolution of mobile imaging technology. Huawei has also actively engaged in global activities such as photography competitions, community events, and trend reports, promoting the spread of mobile photography culture worldwide.
The exhibition explores eight themes, including “The Secrets of Mother Nature” and “The Joy of Sports,” reflecting Huawei’s commitment to capturing diverse and heartwarming moments.
Keith Ladzinski, a photographer with National Geographic, shared his thoughts during the opening ceremony, praising Huawei’s contemplation on ‘technology’ and ‘art,’ which reflects in the exhibition’s brand philosophy.
The exhibition will run from May 8th to 10th, with exceptional works displayed across Huawei’s official platforms. The HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2024, aimed at encouraging artistic expression in mobile photography, introduces new categories and awards to showcase Huawei’s imaging capabilities.
